Researcher Support Library Services: ORCiD pop ups

When you sign into Elements you will see an option to connect your Elements account to ORCiD:

You will be redirected to ORCiD to register or sign in.  

Elements will read your ORCiD record and add publications you have claimed (or will claim in future) in ORCiD to your Elements profile if it can find a DOI match in its system.  This means ORCiD can auto-populate your Elements profile with any articles.  This will cut down on some of the manual burden of keeping your Elements profile up to date. 

Ensure any forthcoming publications are automatically added to your ORCiD profile when published:
 

1. Ensure you add your ORCiD ID into publishers' manuscript submission systems

2. That's all you need to do - nice and simple.  You may get emailed by ORCiD from time to time to confirm that articles are yours.
