The books in the Library are arranged by subject area so have a look at the titles next to the one you are looking for as these may also be relevant.

Have a look at general textbooks in your subject. The content page and index will give an idea of whether the topic you are looking at is covered.

Many of the Social Work books are at 361.3 on level 2, but due to the nature of the subject, they may be dispersed across different subject areas throughout the library

Always use Primo to locate books on your topic as you may find they are not at the class mark you are expecting.

The easiest way to find a book is to search on Primo. Primo is our search tool to find the best quality resources to support your learning, teaching and research. Discover specialist databases, theses, books, journal articles and more - both print and digital - with a single search. Type in the author's name, title of the book or search by keywords.  Limiting your search to 'books, journal titles etc.' from the drop down menu will help narrow down your results. Make a note of the class number so you can find the book on the shelf. You may also wish to browse the shelves but remember that not all books will be in the same location, as some may be relevant to other subjects too.

Reading Lists

You will find your reading lists on the right hand side of the DLE within each module page. These lists are a great starting point for finding out more about a topic.
