Using University of Plymouth resources

In addition to all the resources available via your college the University also provides a wealth of resources to support you in your studies.

To be successful ensure that you:

  • know how to log into the University of Plymouth portal (you will need your UoP log in details provided by your college)
  • set up forwarding for your UoP email
  • know how to search Primo (UoP library catalogue)

University of Plymouth Portal

All of the University of Plymouth resources can be accessed via the University's portal. Watch this short video to see how you access this. 

University of Plymouth IT account

All University correspondence will be send to your University of Plymouth student email so if you wish to use a different email then you need to set up a forwarding service

You also have access to Office 365 which provides you with:

  • 1 TB (Terabyte) OneDrive to store and share documents
  • Office online apps Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote
  • Office Pro Plus suite for installations on up to 5 devices
  • Online video based training from Lynda.com
  • Free and discounted software

Whilst your college will have all the essential reading you need for your course when you come to do further research you will want to use the University of Plymouth's Library resources.
