Lexis Library Database

LexisLibrary is a legal database used in many large law practices as well as Universities. It provides access to full text versions of UK case law, legislation and legal journals published by Butterworths; plus legal commentaries.

You can search by subject, author or citation in order to find the material you require.

You can also read online versions of reference works like Halsbury’s Laws of England and the  Encyclopaedia of Forms and Precedents.

You can use Primo to find titles available in the LexisLibrary or search within Lexis itself.

Lexis Practice Areas (formerly PSL) is a legal reference tool which provides guidance on what the law is and how to apply it in practice.

The content of Lexis Practice Areas is structured into different practice areas.

It includes practice notes, precedents, forms, drafting notes, checklists, flowcharts, client-ready materials and the latest legal developments.

It provides useful up-to-date practical guidance from specialist solicitors and barristers on a variety of practice areas, plus accompanying commentary and primary law.
