Alumni & Associate Library Members: Open Access Resources

A guide to open access scholarly sources and search engines for University of Plymouth Alumni and Associate Library Members

What is Open Research all about?

There is increasing access to the outputs of publicly funded research projects for the general public. The tools on this guide provide you with some routes through to open versions of what, in the past, would have been paywalled content. There is still a long way to go but things are changing all the time. If you are interested in the Open Research movement and would like to learn more, there are some open courses available that cover all aspects of Open Research including open data, open code, open licensing, open peer review and considers Open Research within the wider context of integrity, ethics and reproducibility.
