Introduction to Open ResearchThis session introduces the landscape around Open Research, including ‘Plan S’, how it is affecting global scholarly communication and how this translates into local policy and practice for researchers in the UK.

This session runs regularly as part of the Doctoral College's Researcher Development Programme and additional sessions are also scheduled for research and academic staff.

This session covers how to meet current funder requirements (UKRI, Wellcome Trust, NIHR) for open research, with a particular focus on the new UKRI Open Access policy, which affects where and how authors funders funded by UKRI Research Councils disseminate their outputs.
