i-law is a specialist legal database and has a wide range of material related to commercial and insurance law. At the University of Plymouth you have access to the Maritime and Commercial law practice area.
This provides you with access to many unique resources not available elsewhere. eg. Lloyd's Law Reports and Cooke's Voyage Charters
iLaw Registration
Students will be required to register themselves using their University of Plymouth email address.
Students should navigate to iLaw from the database A-Z via Primo as usual.
- Click on the Login link
- Click on the Register here link
Complete the registration form but note when prompted:
- Company name – UoP
- Job Title – Student
- Telephone – this is a mandatory field but any numbers can be added and does not need to be a telephone number, you can just add one or two numbers.
